Lawrence Hammond was born in England circa 1635; Based on probable age at first marriage.6 He married, first, in Charlestown, Middlesex, Mass, 30 September 1662, Audria Eaton.7,8 Lawrence married, second, in Charlestown, Middlesex, Mass, 12 May 1665, Abigail (Collins) Willet, daughter of Deacon Edward Collins and Martha Baylie; This was the second marriage for both.7,9,8 He died in Charlestown, Middlesex, Mass, on 25 July 1699; Boston VRs say 29 Aug 1699.7,10

Other Events

     Lawrence emigrated from England to Charlestown, Middlesex, Mass, in 1661.7 He became a member of the Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company of Massachusetts in 1666.5 He became a Freeman at Cambridge, Middlesex, Mass, on 23 May 1666. Phillip Russell, Samuel Moody and Caleb Moody also became Freemen at the same time.11 His estate was probated in 1700.12 After Abigail died, Lawrence married Margaret Willoughby, 1674/5, and Anne Gerrish, 1684/5.8
