     In 1636 Susanna (?) and William Whiting emigrated from England to Hartford, Hartford, Conn., arriving there just a year after the founder, Rev. Thomas Hooker.8 William Whiting became a Freeman at Hartford, Hartford, Conn on 10 September 1640.22 His estate was probated at Hartford, Hartford, Conn, after July 1647.23 Sarah Whiting and William Whiting may have been siblings.
