     William Harris was born at Middletown, Middlesex, Conn, on 17 July 1665.5 He married in Middletown, Middlesex, Conn, on 8 January 1689/90 Martha Collins, daughter of Samuel Collins and Mary Marvin.6 He died at Middletown, Middlesex, Conn, on 19 February 1751/52 at age 86.7 He was buried at Old Farm Hill Cemetery Middletown, Middlesex, Conn, on 21 February 1751/52.8

     Patience Harris and William Harris were first cousins. Patience married Daniel Markham, a nephew of Deacon Edward Collins; and William married Martha Collins, a granddaughter of Deacon Edward Collins.
