     Rev. Noadiah Russell was born on 22 July 1659 at New Haven, New Haven, Conn. He married Mary Hamlin, daughter of Giles Hamlin and Esther/Hester Crow, on 20 February 1689/90 at Middletown, Middlesex, Conn.4,5 Rev. Noadiah Russell died on 3 December 1713 at Middletown, Middlesex, Conn, at age 54.4,6 He was buried on 5 December 1713 at Riverside Cemetery Middletown, Middlesex, Conn.7

     Rev. Noadiah Russell and Rev. Samuel Russell graduated from Harvard, class of 1681. In 1701, they became two of the founders of Yale College in New Haven.8 Rev. Noadiah Russell was ordained minister of the First Church of Christ, Congregational, in Middletown, Middlesex, Conn., on 24 October 1688. He succeeded Rev. Nathaniel Collins, who died on 28 Dec 1684.9 Rev. Samuel Russell and Rev. Noadiah Russell were two of the founders of Yale College in 1701. They were classmates at Harvard, gradusting in 1681. His estate was probated on 3 May 1714 at Middletown, Middlesex, Conn.10 Rev. Noadiah Russell was one of ten ministers who founded Yale College.
