Rev. Samuel Stow was baptized on 8 February 1623 at England. He married Hope Fletcher on 8 May 1649 at Charlestown, Middlesex, Mass; The marriage was probably in Charlestown, Mass., although it is recorded in Middletown.4 Rev. Rev. Samuel Stow and his parents emigrated from England to Roxbury, Suffolk, Mass, in 1634.6 Samuel graduated from Harvard, class of 1645.7 Rev. Samuel Stow became a Freeman at Cambridge, Middlesex, Mass., in May 1645.8 On 4 November 1668, Rev. Samuel Stow was succeeded by Rev. Nathaniel Collins at the First Church of Christ, Congregational, Middletown.
