     James Markham was born circa 1612 at England; His parentage, and date and place of baptism are unknown.1 He married in Earls Colne, Essex, England, on 11 October 1632 Martha Collins, daughter of John Collins and Magdalen Trelhern.1 James Markham was buried on 6 February 1679/80 at Earls Colne, Essex, England.2

Other Events

     Martha and James Markham had eight children, although Daniel is the only one known to have come to America. He was their third son, and fourth child.1
