     Samuel Terry was born at England in April 1632.7 He married, first, on 3 January 1660/61 Ann Lobdell.8 He married, second, in Conn on 19 November 1690 Sarah Bliss, daughter of Thomas Bliss and Margaret Hulins. Samuel Terry died at Springfield, Hampden, Mass, in 1731; His date of death is easily confused with the date of death of his son Samuel. He was buried in 1731 at Springfield Cemetery Springfield, Hampden, Mass.9

     Samuel Terry emigrated from England to Springfield, Hampden, Mass, in circa 1650.10 Stephen Terry and Samuel Terry came to America from England independently. Their relationship, if any, in England is unknown.
