     Samuel Moody was born at New Castle, Rockingham, NH, on 29 October 1699.1,2,3 He married at Wells, Maine, on 12 January 1724/25 Mary Wheelwright, daughter of John Wheelwright and Mary Snell; per Maine Historical Magazine, Vol 9, Page 180 (Sept 1894).2 He died at Maine on 22 September 1758 at age 58.4 He was buried at Eastern Cemetery Portland, Cumberland, Maine, on 24 September 1758.5

     Samuel graduated from Harvard, class of 1718.6 Samuel Moody and Mary Wheelwright were second cousins.
