     Rev. John Pike was born at Salisbury, Essex, Mass, on 13 May 1653.6,7 He married in Dover, Strafford, NH, on 5 May 1681 Sarah Moody, daughter of Rev. Joshua Moody and Martha Collins.8 He died at Dover, Strafford, NH, on 10 March 1709/10 at age 56.9

     John graduated from Harvard, class of 1675. He and Rev. Jonathan Russell were classmates. Their wives were sisters.10 Rev. John Pike became a Freeman at Saliisbury, Essex, Mass on 21 February 1675/76.11 Sarah Moody and Rev. John Pike had additional children.12
