William Adams was born on 27 May 1650 at Ipswich, Essex, Mass.3,4 He married, first, in Dedham, Norfolk, Mass, on 15 October 1674 Mary Manning, daughter of William Manning and Dorothy (?).5,3,6 He married, second, in Dedham, Norfolk, Mass, on 29 March 1680 Alice Bradford, daughter of William Bradford Jr and Alice Richards.7,3,8 Rev. William Adams died on 17 August 1685 at Dedham, Norfolk, Mass, at age 35.9,3 He was buried on 19 August 1685 at Old Village Cemetery Dedham, Norfolk, Mass.10

     William graduated from Harvard, class of 1671.4 He delivered the election sermon for the Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company of Massachusetts in 1680.11
