     William Hamlin was born at Middletown, Middlesex, Conn, on 3 February 1667/68.4 He married in Middletown, Middlesex, Conn, on 26 May 1692 Susanna Collins, daughter of Rev. Nathaniel Collins and Mary Whiting.4 He died at Middletown, Middlesex, Conn, on 22 May 1733 at age 65.5 He was buried at Swan Point Cemetery Providence, Providence, RI, on 24 May 1733.6
